Being recognized as the most beautiful girl in the club is the icing on the cake of this fabulous celebration. 🎂✨

 

The most beautiful girl of the night was the Dutch model Egith Van Dinther, who presented the culture and art program called Showcase on TRT World. Egith has been living in Turkey for 3 years. She cheered up the dance floor of Corpi Palas with her 1.80 height and agile dances.

Hey… She couldn’t stand the crowd. She wanted to dance more comfortably. That’s why she continued the night in the room called Embassy on the top floor. In this room, they played music in a different style, hip-hop, R&B.

Dinther has a confident stance. Her attitude is warm and sympathetic… I asked what she was with Turkish men. She said that they were very jealous, that she had difficulty in relating to Turkish men: We are very different, our cultures are different, my relationships with Turkish men do not get anywhere. Last Friday night, a Turkish man invited Egith to dinner somewhere. But this first date ended with a crisis of jealousy again. Was this situation due to our Turks’ self-confidence deficiencies? Or did our men trust Egith but not the environment? As Fehmi Koru said for a while, Aydın DoÄŸan was good, but his environment was bad? Oh bitch time… Neither Fehmi Koru left nor Aydın DoÄŸan left…

Background

Urban November is an artistic collaboration primarily between some of the biggest names in the African and Turkish creative industry.

Since 2018, an art exhibition to celebrate and showcase their creative journey is held in Istanbul every November. The idea was conceived and brought to life by Akai Stephen and his Turkish business partner Ugur Bir. Both are architects by profession and have been working together for nearly a decade.

This year’s exhibition is themed around some of Nigeria’s gods and deities expressed on fabrics, glass, and illuminated by a golden dash of white light. The evolution of the female mind on canvas and the infinity murmurations of pigeons which, according to the artist, symbolizes the soul of Istanbul are just but a few on display.

Sue Wong the famous Chinese Designer celebrated her 70th birthday last Saturday. She invited me for her Mega birthday party at her Historical home because I walked in a few runway shows of her. Her house was amazing and we had a blast. Thank you Sue for making me a Sue Wong Goddess

OSCAR DE LA RENTA LAKE TAHOE

IGGY was cast by John Martinez for the beautiful show. For the 49th year in a row, the League to Save Lake Tahoe has raised an extraordinary amount of money—$870,000 to be exact—at its annual Oscar de la Renta fashion show. The event, which was sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenueand AT&T, was held on Saturday, August 4 at the Schumacher Family estate on the Lake Tahoe shoreline.

HBO’s Golden Globe awards after party

I was happily invited for some afterparties after the nominations. The Best party far out was the HBO party. Many stars showed there second outfit on the glamorous feast. It was a night FULL of drinks, food and of course DANCING. 

The Good thing about the Golden Globes parties is that they are all held at the same location; the Beverly Hilton. that saves a lot of hassle.

TIFF 2016 Instyle Party 

TORONTO / CANADA ~ It was already the second time that I was invited for the official Instyle party, organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.  This party is one of my favorites because it’s full of high fashion creations, red carpet flashes and bubbly Hollywood Stars.

All though I have to admit, half of the time I don’t recognize the stars running around… The only duo that I Did spotted this year was Dsquared. Dean & Dan Caten are designers you can’t really miss…


After shaking hands with Nicole Kidman and Paul Haggis, it was time for me to hit the buffet. The dessert was for sure worth it.
